Build Skill.

Grow Confidence.

Understand the Game.

The Foundation Stage of the M5 Pathway.
From first sessions to extra training alongside club football, we’ll find the right group for your child to learn, grow and enjoy the game.

The Right Support.

The Right Challenge.

Every player arrives with different experience, confidence and goals.

Some are learning the basics. Others want to feel more comfortable on the ball or build on what they’re learning at their club.

We organise classes by age and playing level, with guidance to help each player take their next steps. Across every group, we encourage effort, respect and a willingness to learn.

You don’t need to know which class is right for your child. We’ll help you find a suitable starting point.

Purposeful Training.

Lasting Habits.

Sessions combine focused technical training with individual challenges and small-sided games.

Players have opportunities to practise, make decisions against opponents and apply feedback. Coaches explain what they are working on and help them understand how it connects to the game.

Technique

Develop first touch, passing, dribbling and finishing, then practise using those skills under pressure.

Game Understanding

Learn to recognise space, support teammates and make decisions with and without the ball.

Confidence & Training Habits

Build confidence to try, learn from mistakes and keep working through challenges. Develop habits of listening, effort and respect for others.

Coaching

& Care

Our coaches take the time to get to know players, offering encouragement, clear guidance and constructive feedback they can understand and act on.

Training takes place at the M5 Football Centre of Excellence in Caringbah, with indoor space for technical practice and small-sided games.

Chose Your

Weekly Training.

Choose a training frequency that suits your child’s needs and your family’s schedule. We can help you decide.

  • Foundation — for players building consistency

  • Growth — for players ready to increase volume

  • Plus+ — for players seeking a higher training load

Your training option determines how often your child attends.

Classes are organised by age and playing level across all options. We’ll help you choose the option that best supports your child’s development.

You don’t have to know which tier is best right now — we’ll recommend the right option after we meet your child.

Q: Can my child continue playing for their club?
A: Yes. The Development Program provides additional training alongside club football.

Q: Are girls classes available?
A: Yes. Dedicated girls sessions are available, along with mixed classes. We’ll help you find a suitable option.

Q: Can my child try a session before enrolling?
A: Yes, subject to class suitability and availability. Complete the enquiry form and we’ll contact you with trial options, including the session details and any applicable fee.

Q: How do weekly payments work?
A: Payments continue weekly while your child is enrolled, based on your selected training option. To cancel, email team@m5football.com.au with at least two weeks’ notice. Fees remain payable during that period.

Q: What happens if we need a break or miss a session?
A: You can request a pause of up to four weeks in a 12-month period, with at least seven days’ written notice. Approval and conditions apply.

Missed sessions generally do not qualify for refunds, credits or make-up sessions. M5 may offer a replacement session at its discretion.

Q: How does this differ from the Full-Time Program?
A: The Development Program offers regular training for players building their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

The Full-Time Program is a selective option involving a greater training and competition commitment. Coaches may recommend it when a player demonstrates readiness and a suitable place is available.
